Spring is here and we are already planning our on-site garden. Each year we use what is grown in our own yard for the soup kitchen and food pantry. If you have some extra seedlings - or want to specifically grow some for us, drop them off and we'll get them in the ground! Several local families also plant a row in their garden for Manna and donate all the bounty to our food pantry. There's nothing like fresh fruits and vegetables, and the homeless and working poor don't have a way to experience the health and emotional benefits of planting a garden.
