Emily’s House

rehEmily was a prophet who roamed the desert. He hit rock bottom and then God lifted him up for a new beginning. Emily’s House is a short-term, 45-day substance abuse rehabilitation program designed to work with men and women who have hit rock bottom. It grew from our recognition that a portion of the population’s needs were unmet. We established the program as part of our desire to provide restoration, hope, and recovery.

Using a blend of individual and group counseling, the clients of Emily’s House are in a structured program designed to help them take the first steps in recovery from the ravages of substance abuse. For some, the program in Emily’s House is enough to help them get their lives back on track and get back into the life of the greater community and the world of work. For others who need a longer term in recovery, Emily’s House clients can transition into Noah House and continue the work they so desperately need to do.

Noah House

‘Noah’ means ‘a new beginning.’ Noah House is a long-term faith-based rehabilitation facility for those suffering from substance abuse. It provides a structured treatment environment for men and women who have completed a detoxification program or who need more support to achieve recovery from addiction. It’s not unusual for people who have failed with other programs to come to us.

Our typical treatment involves a blend of individual and group counseling, along with spiritual and educational components. Our comprehensive approach to treatment begins with an evaluation of the client’s psychological, physical, social, and spiritual needs. Once we have completed our assessment, we develop an individualized treatment plan.

All of this is designed to provide the individual with as much knowledge and skill as possible to remain substance-free.

For those with co-occurring mental health issues, counseling is available through our Outpatient Counseling Services located in a different wing of the building. This enables us to offer a full range of care to those with substance abuse problems.

Upon completion of the program, clients are offered transitional housing and/or support in integrating back into the community. Noah House provides individualized treatment with 24/7 staff on site. This is a long-term program that generally lasts approximately 9 months.

Noah House grew from Manna’s dedication to restoring a quality of life for our neighbors. We provide professional substance abuse assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to adults regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, religion, political affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, or their physical or financial position.

Manna Ministries does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, or familial status in the access to its programs. However, clients in the residential treatment program must be at least eighteen years old, free of all mood-altering substances when they are admitted, physically and mentally able to participate in a therapeutic environment, and motivated for treatment.
